Crawl Driver - CRL.EXE Allows the user to just click on a text file to instantly crawl it on the CODI CG. For example, from Norton Commander screen just cursor to a text file and press enter or double click on it. It instantly crawls on the CODI at a prespecified font,color,location, and speed. VTR2.0 Product Description
VTR2.0 Remote Control Interface provides parallel connections for
RS-422 serial controlled VTR's using the industry standard serial
protocol.
Many facilities have remote control panels in one or more control
rooms to control REW FFWD STOP STBY REC PLAY for various VTR's. These
were usually parallel interfaces with a wire for each function and a
wire for each lamp. Modern betacam VTR's, digital VTR's, and others
use RS-422 serial control with only a transmit and a receive circuit.
VTR2.0 allows an interface between many existing control panels, and
the newer RS-422 VTR's. The terminal block connections follow the
industry standard GPI General Purpose Interface method. The switch
terminals are activated when grounded by a button, a relay, or an
open collector GPI output from another device. Likewise, the lamp
outputs are open collector drivers which provide a path to ground to
light status lamps.
In plants where existing remote control panels already have wires for
each switch and lamp running to the VTR rack, VTR2.0 can connect at
the end of the cable, and have a short serial cable to the VTR. In
new installations, the long run can be the 4 wire RS-422 cable,
with VTR2.0 terminal block connected at the remote panel.

To verify that the VTR is ready and in "remote" mode etc, the "Record Now" push-to-test button sends the record command .
A very gentle beeping is heard when the preset time is reached and the VTR is then commanded to record.

Dual Timer Product Description
UpTimer MM:SS.Tenths with a Start/Stop button and a Reset button on the front panel. Both functions are available on a rear DB-9 connector for use with a Reset foot switch. Pressing both buttons at once turns the UpTimer off (it goes dark). At any time whether running, stopped, or dark, Reset displays a zeroed running UpTimer.
Time-of-Day Clock HH:MM:SS display with a "HH MM SS" select button and an "Adjust" button for the most convenient methods ever for setting or synchronizing.
To synchronize to any reference, press one button to display seconds only, and then press the Adjust button at the exact top-of-minute. The clock rounds up or down as needed to synchronize perfectly, and returns to displaying all 6 digits.
For initial time setting, continue by selecting then incrementing hours and minutes. Hold the Adjust button to increment at the quick "ten times per second" rate.
The timebase for both units is a temperature compensated crystal oscillator chip with an accuracy of 1 minute per year or 0.16 seconds per day worst case.
